When I say ripped out, I mean ripped out -- folicles and all, to the point that it was just shiny skin. I put this stuff on it maybe three times a week and in two weeks I had a reasonable amount of hair there, and in four weeks the hair was the length it was pre-cornrows. Maybe it as my natural hair growth cycle, I don't know. But I had my temple hair ripped out by weave six years ago and it took two months for it to grow back.
